I’ve already mentioned how to clean up the new and “improved Facebook,” but there’s never been a solution to the vexing problem of the Facebook Timeline, that is until now. Timeline Remove is an Internet browser extension that removes the despised Timeline feature from ALL Facebook profiles.
“This tiny, but handy tool disables the new Facebook timeline feature and restores the classic look, without changing the timeline behavior for other visitors of your Facebook profile,” notes the developer. “The extension basically works by hiding the timeline, so you can view your own and others’ profiles in the old style.”
Timeline Remove is available for Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer – Safari is a “working [sic] in progress.”
Timeline Remove works immediately after it’s installed, adding a button to the toolbar so you can toggle back and forth between views, turning Facebook Timeline on and off as you see fit.
The only downside is that it doesn’t work on pages you’ve “liked” so you’ll still have to contend with Timline to a degree. Other than that it works like a charm.
Stay tuned.

I've been interested in P2P since the early, high-flying days of Napster and KaZaA. I believe that analog copyright laws are ill-suited to the digital age, and that art and culture shouldn't be subject to the whims of international entertainment industry conglomerates. Twitter | Google Plus
