It goes without saying how important VPN services, in tandem with proxies and other methods, are to avoid DNS filtering and the various forms of Internet censorship plans like SOPA and the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) that are being formulated by US authorities at the behest of overzealous copyright holders.
One of those VPN services is Giganews’ VyprVPN, a setup guide for which I covered for desktop and Android devices earlier this year.
Not one to rest on its laurels, Giganews recently announced that its Golden Frog development team had updated the VyprVPN App to version 1.1. It promises that “Version 1.1 brings a cleaner user experience with several new features and bug fixes.”
